Grant Thornton Elevates Trained Professionals to Head Forensic and Cyber Practices in London

Grant Thornton, a global professional services firm, has recently made significant promotions within its forensic and cyber practices in London. The firm has appointed Philippa Hill as the head of its forensic and investigation services practice, and Vijay Rathour as the head of its cyber and digital investigations practice.

Hill, a partner and chartered accountant with over two decades of experience, will lead the 200-strong team of professionals in handling accounting disputes and investigations. She has a strong background in professional negligence and accounting irregularities, making her a valuable asset to the firm.

On the other hand, Rathour brings substantial expertise in digital forensics to his new role. As the head of the cyber and digital investigations practice, he will provide litigation support for e-disclosure, data breaches, incident response, and regulatory actions investigations. His experience as an expert adviser to the United Nations on cyber-crime further solidifies his position as a leader in the field.

Grant Thornton’s decision to elevate Hill and Rathour comes after the resignation of Will Davies, the former managing partner of forensic and investigations services. The firm is confident that these promotions will further strengthen its position as one of the leading forensic practices in the UK.

Both Hill and Rathour expressed their commitment to providing high-quality forensic services to clients amidst challenging economic and geopolitical conditions. They emphasized the importance of technical expertise, experience, and creativity in handling complex and challenging matters for clients globally.

The recent promotions at Grant Thornton reflect the firm’s dedication to staying at the forefront of the industry and providing top-notch services to its clients. With the demand for forensic services on the rise, Hill and Rathour are well-equipped to lead their respective practices to success in the ever-evolving landscape of cyber and digital investigations.
