IIA SA and TEI Join Forces to Promote Ethical Practices in Business

The Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIA SA) and The Ethics Institute (TEI) have recently announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the professional development of their members and advancing business and professional ethics. The memorandum of agreement was signed by Arlene-Lynn Volmink, CEO of IIA SA, and Dr Liezel Groenewald, CEO of TEI, solidifying their commitment to fostering ethical organizations and providing high-quality services to their members.

IIA SA, as part of an international network representing the interests of internal auditors worldwide, upholds the fundamental tenets of the profession contained within the Global Internal Audit Standards. The organization serves internal auditors in South Africa by offering technical guidance, professional development opportunities, certification programs, conferences, and networking opportunities.

On the other hand, TEI, established in 1999, aims to enable and support the cultivation of ethical organizations and build an ethically responsible society. The institute pursues its vision and mission through thought leadership and an organizational ethics-related offering, including training, assessments, advisory services, and thought leadership for various sectors.

This collaboration underscores the commitment of both organizations to contribute to the development of a more ethical business environment and promote ethical practices in the professional landscape. With their shared vision and mission, IIA SA and TEI are set to make a significant impact on the promotion of ethics in business and professional conduct.
