The Faculty of Business and Law, the largest at DMUD, offers a wide range of courses from Foundation to Postgraduate levels. It is dedicated to equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the ever-evolving business world. DMUD is currently inviting applications for the roles of Lecturer and Senior Lecturer. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in delivering student-centric teaching, engaging in innovative teaching methodologies, and contributing to the university’s research activities. Lecturers will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops, marking assessments, supervising projects and dissertations, and providing personal tutoring. Senior Lecturers, in addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, will be tasked with developing teaching content, leading modules or programs, and making a significant impact towards the university’s goals.
Ideal candidates for these positions should hold a PhD or Postgraduate degree in an accounting discipline, along with a professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent). Experience in teaching at a UK institution or familiarity with the UK higher education system will be highly regarded. DMUD is particularly interested in applicants who can teach subjects such as Advanced Business Intelligence, Forensic Accounting, Advanced Financial Reporting, Accounting Standards and Theory, Audit and Assurance, and Advanced Corporate Finance.
