Anaergia Inc. Faces Delay in Filing Annual Financial Documents

BURLINGTON, Ontario, June 18, 2024– Anaergia Inc. (TSX: ANRG) has announced a longer than expected delay in filing its annual information form for the year ended December 31, 2023. The company, along with Deloitte LLP, is working on completing the required documents, including audited annual consolidated financial statements and management’s discussion and analysis. The filing is now anticipated to be completed before the end of June 2024.

Due to this delay, Anaergia expects subsequent delays in filing its interim financial statements for the three months ended March 31, 2024, and the holding of its 2024 annual general and special meeting of shareholders. The Ontario Securities Commission has imposed a failure to file cease trade order, prohibiting trading of the company’s securities in Canada until the required documents are completed.

Anaergia specializes in turning organic waste into renewable natural gas, fertilizer, and water using proprietary technologies. The company aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide innovative solutions for resource recovery challenges. Despite the delays, Anaergia remains committed to meeting its obligations and delivering on its projects.
