The Finance Director of Cadbury Nigeria Plc, Ogaga Ologe, has recently resigned from his position, marking a significant transition for the company. The announcement of his resignation was made through an official statement issued by Wale Odubayo, the Human Resources Director at Cadbury Nigeria Plc, and was made public via the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Ologe, who previously served as the Company’s Financial Controller, took on the role of Finance Director on April 1, 2019. While the exact reasons for his resignation were not disclosed in the statement, his departure undoubtedly represents a notable change within the leadership structure of Cadbury Nigeria Plc.

With a career spanning over a decade, Ologe has navigated through the complexities of finance, auditing, and advisory services with finesse and strategic acumen. Prior to his role at Cadbury Nigeria Plc, he served as the Finance Director at Mondelēz International, overseeing the financial operations of the company in Nigeria.

Ologe’s journey to prominence began at KPMG, where he honed his skills and expertise over eight years as the Manager of Audit and Advisory Services. He then transitioned to Mondelēz International, where he held progressively senior roles, demonstrating talent management skills and overseeing financial controlling, reporting, and compliance activities with precision.

In addition to his corporate endeavors, Ologe has also made significant contributions as a Board Member of Cadbury Ghana Limited, showcasing his commitment to driving growth and excellence across borders. His project management skills were put to the test in auditing engagements with major corporations, ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency.

As Cadbury Nigeria Plc prepares to announce Ologe’s replacement in due course, the Board of the company expressed appreciation for his hard work and committed service, wishing him success in his future endeavors. Ologe’s resignation marks a significant moment for Cadbury Nigeria Plc, as the company navigates this leadership transition.
