Dr. Stefan Heissner Joins FTI Consulting as Senior Managing Director in Germany
In a strategic move to bolster its Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment in Germany, FTI Consulting Inc. (NYSE: FCN) has appointed Dr. Stefan Heissner as a Senior Managing Director, effective July 1, 2024. Dr. Heissner brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent 15 years in the German police force, with a focus on white-collar crime and corruption investigations.
With the rise of financial crime and money laundering in today’s business landscape, Dr. Heissner’s expertise will be instrumental in helping clients navigate fraud and compliance matters. He will lead the Forensic Accounting & Fraud Investigations offering and drive growth in the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria). Additionally, Dr. Heissner will play a key role in leading the broader Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment in DACH, as well as contributing to FTI Consulting’s EMEA leadership team.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Dr. Heissner held leadership roles at PwC, KPMG, and EY, where he honed his skills in forensic services and compliance. With two degrees and a Ph.D. in Economics, Dr. Heissner is well-equipped to lead the charge in combating financial crimes and ensuring corporate compliance.
