Marquette University student Meghan Hayes is making waves in the accounting world with her unique blend of interests and drive for success. Growing up watching crime shows like “Criminal Minds” and “Law & Order,” Hayes always had a fascination with criminal investigation. However, it wasn’t until a chance encounter with FBI agents at a career event that she realized she could combine her love for solving crimes with her accounting degree.
After realizing that finance wasn’t her passion, Hayes decided to pursue a Master’s in Accounting Analytics at Marquette University. This program allowed her to blend accounting, business, and computer science courses, creating a perfect springboard for her varied interests. Hayes has excelled in her studies, completing three internships, serving as president of a student organization, and even studying abroad in Germany.
