Roger Carlile Appointed to RGP Board of Directors

Roger Carlile, founder of Ankura Consulting Group, has been appointed to the board of directors of Resources Connection (RGP), a management consultancy based in Irvine, CA. The decision to increase the board’s membership from 10 to 11 people was made on June 3, with Carlile joining as a director and also serving on the compensation and corporate governance and nominating committees.

RGP’s CEO, Kate Duchene, expressed excitement about Carlile joining the board, highlighting his 35 years of experience in the human capital industry and his track record of scaling global businesses and leading transformational change. Carlile founded Ankura in 2014 and grew the firm to over $550 million in revenue and 1,500 employees during his tenure as CEO and chairman.

Prior to Ankura, Carlile held leadership positions at FTI Consulting, KPMG, PwC, and Deloitte, bringing a wealth of industry expertise to the RGP board. Donald Murray, chairman of the board at RGP, emphasized the value of Carlile’s C-suite experience and industry knowledge to the consultancy’s business.

RGP, founded in 1996 as part of Deloitte US before becoming a public company in 2000, offers staffing solutions, project execution support, and end-to-end solution delivery in various areas including strategy and transformation, finance and accounting, risk and compliance, and technology and digital. With 3,600 professionals across 38 offices globally, RGP has a strong presence in the market, having served 88% of the Fortune 100.

In addition to Carlile’s appointment, RGP recently named Bhadresh Patel as its new COO, further strengthening its leadership team. The consultancy continues to expand its capabilities and enhance its services in response to the evolving needs of the professional services industry.
