YA Group Acquires Bloomberg Consulting, Expands Forensic Services
YA Group, a Nashville-based provider of forensic consulting, engineering, and risk mitigation services, has made a significant acquisition that will expand its capabilities in the field of accident reconstruction. The company has acquired Bloomberg Consulting, a Pensacola, FL-based forensics firm known for its expertise in vehicle accident reconstruction.
Founded in 2000, Bloomberg Consulting offers a range of services including vehicle accident reconstruction, biomechanical analysis, motor carrier compliance, and digital data extraction and analysis. The firm is known for its rapid response services, deploying reconstruction experts within hours of an incident.
With this acquisition, YA Group will integrate Bloomberg Consulting into its forensic engineering subsidiary, YA Engineering Services (YAES). This move will not only enhance YAES’s accident reconstruction and biomechanical services offerings but also expand its presence in the United States.
The Bloomberg team will now have access to a larger pool of experts, including graphics designers and forensic animators, within the YA Group. Wade Bushman, CEO of YA Group, expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating, “Bloomberg is recognized as a leader in accident reconstruction in the heavy trucking industry and will be a fantastic addition to our rapidly growing accident reconstruction services group.”
YA Group, which already has over 600 professionals across its companies, including Young & Associates and Guardian Group International, continues to strengthen its position in the forensic consulting and engineering industry. This latest acquisition further solidifies YA Group’s commitment to providing top-notch services to its clients.
