Zitro’s Sustainability Initiatives and Departmental Structure: A Comprehensive Overview
Zitro, a leading company in the industry, is taking significant steps towards sustainability with the establishment of the ESG Committee. This committee will oversee the integration of sustainability practices across all operations, focusing on environmental responsibility, social impact, and ethical governance.
In addition to the ESG Committee, Zitro has also introduced the EHS department, which will address Environmental, Health, and Safety concerns, promoting sustainable practices and social responsibility initiatives. The company has further enhanced its sustainability efforts by creating four new sub-departments under its Integrated Management System.
The ISO Standards Management Office (IMO) will ensure that all ESG actions are certified and aligned with relevant ISO standards. The Climate Change Office (CCO) will focus on reducing Zitro’s emissions footprint through energy efficiency audits and sustainability measures. The Product Management Office (PMO) will integrate sustainability factors into software development, while the Jira Customization Office (JCO) will support sustainability efforts through the Sustainable Calculation Platform.
By consolidating these efforts under the oversight of the ESG Corporate Committee, Zitro aims to set industry benchmarks for corporate responsibility and sustainable development. Founder Johnny Viveiros Ortiz expressed pride in these initiatives, highlighting the company’s commitment to driving meaningful change towards a more sustainable future.
With these new initiatives in place, Zitro is poised to lead by example in the industry and make a positive impact on the environment and society.
